Fragrant blossom is borne throughout winter followed by red berries in winter. Leaves are semi - evergreen, yet this upright shrub is rather dull when not flowering. Ideal near path / window (for scent) at back of bed - 3m tall x 2.5m

Cultivation tips: Shrubby lonicera flourishes in fertile alkaline to neutral soils, including chalk. Preferring a sunny position for maximum flower production, plant in spring in a sheltered location.
