This low growing evergreen is ideal as ground cover. Clusters of bright yellow flowers are produced in spring, followed by small dark grape shaped fruit. Dark green spinney foliage often turns a red - purple in winter. 70cm tall x 1.2m

Cultivation tips: Mahonia will flourish in most well drained, fertile soils, preferring partial but not deep shade. Trim back growth to shape every other year - removing older straggly growth.
