This low growing silver / gray shrub - with its feathered aromatic foliage - is well suited to clipping and growing in the herb garden as a low hedge, alternatively plant it in a mixed border.
Cultivation tips:
Santolina flourishes in well drained soils of any kind - tolerating very draughty soils as well as chalk. It prefers a south facing sunny location. Dwarf form 'nana' is ideal for rock gardens.
