This distinctive climber produces a succession of fragrant blue flowers throughout the summer - followed by yellow fruit in autumn. Solanum is deciduous and require support for its woody stems if it is to climb freely.

Cultivation tips: Solanum prefers a well drained soil and positioning in full sun / partial shade. It is quite tender, so always plant in a sunny sheltered position - ideally against a south facing wall.
