It grows with roots under water, sending arched root stems above the water. Its fine cut foliage ultimate height- 40m tall x 8m.
Cultivation tips: The swamp Cyprus can survive with its roots underwater, preferring a lime free wet soil - preferably a heavy water clay. Ideal for pond side planting this tree will get very large so is only suitable for larger gardens.
