Centaurea is a long flowering native wildflower. It is fully hardy annual so will only flower for one year but this vatiety puts on a magnificent display of bright pink flowers throughout the summer.Ideal for cut flowers.
Cultivation tips:
Cornflower flourishes on poor well drained soils, requiring a spot on full to establish and flower. In a windy location this flower might require staking but it is ideally suited to wild flower planting on problematic dry soils. Sow directly as seed in spring or plant as established plugs.
