This low growing spreading deciduous shrub is much prized for its repeat display of violet blue summer blossom, especially at the end of the summer season. In autumn decidious foliage turns shades of red. Useful as a spreading shrubby ground cover, where it can be planted in drifts to cover problem areas.

Cultivation tips: This sub-shrub requires a sheltered spot in full sun flourishing in any well drained soil and being well suited to drier soils such as chalk. Spreading habit makes it great as ground cover amongst rock plants in a tough sunny dry spot. 30cm by 45cm spread
