Certatostigma is a low growing and spreading sub shrub that produces masses of mid blue flowers in late summer. Foliage turns red in autumn then dies back, re-growing each year from the ground. Best at front of bed or amongst mixed among low growing herbaceous plants in full sun.
Cultivation tips:
Plumbago does best in a sheltered spot in full sun, requiring a well drained soil and being well suited to drier soils such as chalk. Ceratostigmas spreading habit makes it great as ground cover in a problematic hot dry spot. 30cm by 45cm spread
