This taller growing Erygium should be planted mid border where is outstanding foliage can show itself above surrounding plants. The display of silver blue flower spikes in summer are an added bonus. Ideal with other sun herbaceous plants and grasses.

Cultivation tips: Eryngium's like it a sunny warm location with reasonably fertile yet never wet soil. Ideal for a border in full sun. Cut back to ground in autumn and avoid planting where foliage will be drowned by surrounding plants. Flower spikes and foliage will need staking. Mulch every few years.
