A heavy weight of the herbaceous world, angelica is grown for its statuesque form. Massive parsley like leaves are eventually crowned by impressive towering light green flower spikes. After flowering the plant dies so you will need to replant.

Cultivation tips: This large architectural perennial grows up to 2 metres, requiring full sun and a deep fertile, moist soil. Ideal for bog environment and mixed border, after flowering remove seed heads as it can become invasive and may die after seeding.
