Corokia also produces masses of yellow star like scented blossom which can be followed by masses lots small cotoneaster like berries.
Cultivation tips: Corokia requires a sheltered spot in the UK as it is slightly tender. A spot up against a warm south facing wall is ideal. Corokia will tolerate dry sandy soils, being tolerant of dry conditions, so plant in a well drained soil with a sunny sheltered aspect. Well suited to urban planting.
