Cultivation tips:
Ideally planted in bulb form in autumn (ideally between October and December) tulips will provide a quick splash of spring after planting. This alpine Tulip is more suited to perennial planting and unlike many tulips saxatalis will return year on year and provide a fine spring show of bloom, forming a spreading clump in a sunny open spot within the garden.
