Allium karataviense is a low spreading allium that produces balls of white blossom on short stems in early summer. Blossom is complimented by impressive leathery grey blue foliage. Plant in well-drained sandy / gravelly soil in full sun.
Cultivation tips:
This low growing Allium prefers well drained soils in full sun. Allium karataviense tolerates poorer soils, including gravel soils. Consider planting alongside alpine plants but allow space. Plant as bulbs in autumn.
