This large leaved climber can be a bit of a brut, but it will quickly scramble and cling to an ugly wall, providing a deciduous covering of impressive lush dark green foliage that turns yellow through to crimson red in autumn.

Cultivation tips: Boston ivy is a very vigorous and fast growing self clinging climber. It will grow on most soils but prefers a fertile well drained medium in fullsun or light shade. Plant this climber in autumn or spring with plenty of compost up against wall or fence. This climber will self cling but be ready for regular trimming once established and don't let it get out of hand.
