Crocosmia is a herbaceous perennial that should be planted in a mid border location among grasses or other herbaceous plants, ideally in a drifts.
Cultivation tips:
Plant Crocosmia as either as a potted grown plant or as corm - ideally in autumn or spring. Plant in any moist well drained (but not dry) garden soil in full sun or part shade. Remove flower heads after flowering and trim back foliage in winter. Mulch in winter to protect corms and divide every 3-4 years / replant. Plant deep to protect corms in colder areas.
