Kerria Japonica 'Golden Guinea'

Kerria Japonica 'Golden Guinea'

Type Shrub, Deciduous
Size Large Border (1 to 3m height)
Form Rounded - Bush
Colours Medium green Foliage, Yellow Flowers (Spring)
Care Low/easy maintenance
Hardiness Very hardy
Growth Medium growing

Cultivation tips: Kerria makes a decent upright screening shrub, possibly as part of informal shrub planting. Ideally Kerria is planted towards the back of the border where it can do its yellowy business with its spring blossom only to be allowed to take a step back during the spring and summer, as this shrubs habit can be scruffy looking and the foliage is rather un-interesting.
