This lower growing more compact variety of Dicentra has a more compact habit, making suitable for planting in numbers as ground cover than other taller upright varieties. The dusty blue foliage is is also more interesting which provides interest after distinctive white blossom passes, providing a contrast with other boldly coloured foliage plants.

Cultivation tips: This low growing herbaceous perennial does best in a sheltered spot in dappled shade, but this variety will tolerate more sun thats its taller cousins in the Dicentra Genus.
