It rarely survives the winter months so is often planted in containers, where it is for it is grown for its compact habit and long flowering period.

Cultivation tips: Argyranthemum will require a warm sheltered spot in full sun to survive the British winter. It will tolerate any fertile well drained soil, and can be grown in a container and overwintered under cold glass. Stake taller plants and propagate by cuttings.
