Cultivation tips:
Crinum is native to South Africa and thus requires a more sheltered spot in full sun if it is to survive UK winter conditions. It requires a sunny warm spot and a soil that is both well drained and fertile - on poorer sandy soils this can be overcome with a regular application of mulch. Consider growing in a pot and taking inside under cold glass during the winter months.
